Founder, Find Your Sound Academy
The story of Find Your Sound Academy began in Modesto California, when our founder attended a production of The Nutcracker at just eight years old.
Captivated by the orchestra, he couldn’t stop talking about the violins, and a week later his grandmother bought him his first instrument.
Throughout school he immersed himself in music, performing in orchestra before discovering the guitar and developing a love for live performance and a more modern repertoire than the classical music he had been playing.
Everything changed after a last-minute mixup put an electric bass in his hands. The first time he played it, it felt like coming home.
Our Story
That moment led to years of performing with bands across the West Coast, earning a degree in Electric Bass Performance from Berklee College of Music, and building a professional career in Nashville.
For more than a decade, he toured with artists, performed on Broadway, and worked as a full-time musician.
This journey of musical discovery became the foundation for Find Your Sound Academy.
Today, our goal is simple: to help students discover the instrument that inspires them, then give them the tools, guidance, and encouragement to keep growing.
